Travel agents, airlines, hotels and others quest how to leverage dynamic new electronic media. What works?

In 225-275 words, discuss an electronic marketing or e-business trend. Expect to share your research during class.

Your report should:

  • Be written in the third person.
  • Include at least two references -- a refereed journal article and a newspaper story no earlier than February 2005.
  • Discuss an electronic marketing or e-business trend
  • Include at least one web site that illustrates your topic.

Due at the beginning of Thursday's class

Plagiarism (if in doubt, ask!) gives you:

  • a 0 for the research report
  • a lower class participation score
  • your name on file with ESSEC
Assessment (60 points)

Mechanical Features (10 points)

  • Grammar -- typos, spelling, verb tense, verb agreement, etc.
  • References in the report and reference section should adhere to American Psychological Association in-text and reference list style.
  • Format: 12 point Times New Roman font; 1.5 line spaced; align left; no cover page; word count included
Content Features (50 points)
  • Follow The Elements of Style [paperback or online]
  • Introduction - in a few sentences, explain why your topic is important.
  • Body - in a logical manner that flows, weave together and illustrate the key points of your research.
  • Conclusion - in a few sentences, summarise the trend; your personal thoughts; and how the trend may evolve.
