Launch or revise an organisation's electronic marketing plan, along with a report of the eight m's.

Assessment (75 points for the written report and 25 points for the presentation)
  1. Cover Page - title, url, client, group members. separate page (1 point)
  2. Executive Summary - This may be all your client, or instructor, reads. Summarise what's important to them, and to you. 125/175 words, separate page (5 points)
  3. Introduction - Explain how your report is outlined, where it will go, what the reader will find. 100/125 words (4 points)
  4. The client - Explain the organisation, its history, key individuals, etc. 150/175 words (4 points)
  5. Competitive analysis - What are your competitors websites doing, or not doing? 200/250 words plus tables (6 points)
  6. Mission - Who does the organisation see as its target market(s) and how does it hope to address this market. Specific goals? Objectives? 150/175 words (5 points)
  7. Metrics – Given the mission, what metrics will measure success? What targets have you set for these metrics? 150/175 words (5 points)
  8. Mechanics – What ISP would you use? Why? What website tools and features do you suggest -- graphics and page sizes in kilobytes, fonts, secure server, java, javascript, cgi, colours, templates, etc? How is the site organised for easy navigation? 150/175 words (5 points)
  9. Domain - What url and email addresses do you suggest? Why? 150/175 words (4 points)
  10. Marketing – What online and offline marketing did you employ? What do you suggest for the future? 175/225 words (5 points)
  1. Management – What individual(s) will manage the site and e-mail queries? Make future decisions? Why? 125/150 words (5 points)
  2. Maintenance – Who will update the site and how are they trained? Who will respond to email and how? What is the maintenance schedule and how does this relate to the site design?  125/150 (5 points)
  3. Money – What fixed and variable expenses are associated with the site? What cost savings and increased sales should be expected due to the site? 150/175 (5 points)
  4. Conclusion – In summary, why will this site benefit your client? What are your future recommendations? 175/200 words (7 points)
  5. Appendix – Home page sketch, site hierarchy, relevant company literature and a few other documents. separate pages (2 points)
  6. Formatting (2 points)
    • 1.5 spaced, indent paragraphs, double spaced after headings, include word count with each heading
    • One inch margins
    • Align left for the body of the report
    • Bullet points where appropriate
    • Except for headings, use a 12 point Times New Roman font
    • Black and white, limited colour
  7. Following the Elements of Style (7 points)
